World Tour Photographs: Days 10-13 Seoul, Republic of Korea

In the Republic of Korea we did not have time to venture beyond Seoul, but this city is a world unto itself. It is so much larger than I had ever imagined! There is the most amazing blend of ancient and modern: at times it felt like New York City, while at other times we were in the heart of the Joseon dynasty. The other stand-out impression that I have from my few days in Seoul is of the food, the wonderful food… Must go back…

The photographs in this series include:

  1. Arrival
  2. Deoksugung Palace and a walking tour of Seoul
  3. Changdeokgung Palace, followed by lunch at Yong Susan and a family dinner
  4. Final morning in Seoul
